My wife and I purchased this 2016 Ice Castle unit in 2020 as a means to take our two boys (ages 5 & 7) on "adventures" throughout the state and Midwest. It is a 2016 8'x16' with 4' V Ice Castle Lake of the Woods Hybrid that sleeps 4-6 people (4 adults comfortably). It has brought our family countless memories and has allowed us to enjoy the great outdoors in a multitude of ways. We decided to rent it when we were not using it so other families could have an affordable way to go on adventures of their own! Please treat "Weiney Blaster", as our boys have affectionately named it, as if it were your own.
You can pick up the Weiney Blaster at our home in Mound, I can meet you within 30 miles from Mound to have you pick it up or I can set it up on a local lake so you don't have to worry about trailering it. Some examples would be Lake Minnetonka, Lake Waconia, Lake Independence, etc. This also decreases the cost of the required add-on insurance. Whatever you are looking for, just let me know. I want to make this an easy and fun experience for you and your family/friends.
We also have a 3500 Predator Inverter Generator and/or a Marcum M5 Flasher System Sonar Fish Finder available to rent. The generator is an additional $30 a day and the fish finder is $25 a day. Just let me know if you are interested. What's includedIt has a jackknife sofa with bunk above it and a rear dinette with bunk above it. It also has a bay window, oven, stove top, A/C, vaulted ceiling with two skylights, microwave, 32" television, Amazon Firestick, DVD player and Bluetooth stereo. There are also two 30 pound propane tanks and an electric cord with adapters so it can be hooked up to just about any outlet or generator. The fish house also has 4 rattle reels setup and available for use for those great late night bites!RecommendationsThis has been an awesome way for our family to enjoy ice fishing on Red Lake, Mille Lacs, Lake Minnetonka and a multitude of other lakes throughout the Midwest. I am an avid outdoorsman who loves to hunt, fish and spend time in the great outdoors. My wife and I love spending time with our two boys (ages 5 & 7) and making memories with them. We started a small side business called Lake Life Rentals, LLC in 2018 and have spent the last few years renting out our lake toys which include a Bennington pontoon, Ice Castle Fish House, water mat, etc. It has been a great way to meet new people and help share the "lake life" with others.
