The Great Outdoors

One of the best reasons to book an RV in Lebanon is its proximity to Round Valley Reservoir and its accompanying recreation area. This vast reservoir is ideal for sailing and boating as the lake covers over 200 acres. The lake is also over 180 feet deep, making it the deepest lake in New Jersey. Thanks to its depth, Round Valley is also exceptional for fishing, with anglers coming from all over the state to fish here. If you don't want to get wet, a picnic on the scenic shoreline is also a good option.

RV Parks

Despite being very rural, there are still a few places to park when you rent an RV in Lebanon, NJ. One of the options upstate is TripleBrook Camping Resort near Blairstown. This campground offers roughly 200 gravel and grass campsites that come with full hookups and 30 and 50 amp electric. This park supports big rigs at certain campsites, with space for campers to pull through and slide out their awnings. Amenities are fairly standard and include laundry, restrooms, and showers. Recreational activities vary and include a game room and mini golf.

Exploring the City

Lebanon is a small town, so there aren't a lot of businesses in the area. However, the basics are covered with small shops and restaurants around the town; other nearby cities such as Clinton may offer more options. As not much has changed in Lebanon over the past century, there's plenty of history to uncover. One great place to stop is at The Red Mill Museum Village. This picturesque four-story farmhouse turned museum is the best place to learn about the history of Lebanon and the surrounding area. Visitors can step back in time to the early 1800s at the replica schoolhouse and log cabin. The staff also dress in period clothing, and there's a wide range of well-preserved artifacts on display in the mill.

My wife and I rented this RV for a quiet weekend getaway to The Poconos. We were thrilled to be able to bring our dog with us. The owner was extremely helpful and communicative. The RV was the perfect size for a couple looking for a weekend away that feels cozy, but also has plenty of space. We were able to cook in the kitchen area, enjoy s’mores outside with provided chairs and have breakfast looking out the adjacent window. The bed was also the perfect nook for snuggling up in the chilly nights, while still being large enough to spread out. All in all, we would absolutely book again.
