Dresher was not officially incorporated until the mid-1900s. However, there were a number of farmers and miners in the area dating as far back as late 1600. Dresher is just off the Pennsylvania Turnpike (a toll road), and its central location in the suburbs of Philadelphia makes it an ideal place to visit. It’s close to routes 309 and 611, which are convenient arteries into downtown Philadelphia.
