Wissahickon Valley Park, which looks deceptively small on a map, is a 1,800-acre gorge. Over 50 miles of multiuse trails travel through woods and meadows, occasionally crossing the Wissahickon Creek, which winds through the park. The idyllic babbling creek sets a nice ambient mood for the hikers.
