The city of Easton is the county seat of Northampton County in Pennsylvania. The city is split into four different areas; the area north of the Lehigh River and west of the Delaware River is Easton's historic downtown area. The city is also divided by the Norfolk Southern Railway's Lehigh Line which heads to Phillipsburg, New Jersey to the east and Allentown to the west. There is a Soldiers and Sailors Monument in the city's downtown neighborhood town square; the monument is a memorial for Easton Civil War veterans. Easton has a long list of celebrities associated with the city, including Jack Coleman of the TV show Heroes and former world heavyweight boxing champion Larry Holmes.

RV rentals in Northampton County are plentiful and perfectly suited to ferrying visitors from point to point as they explore the area. There are some other towns that visitors should visit at least once while they are there. Tannersville is home to two tourist destinations, the Camelback Ski Area and Camelbeach Waterpark. Lehighton's newspaper serves six neighboring counties and is published six days a week. Pottstown was once very reliant on its iron and steel interests, but today, it is very productive as a farming and dairy center. Quakertown was an overnight storage facility for the Liberty Bell during the Revolutionary War while it was being transferred from Philadelphia to Allentown. Doylestown constructed its first church in 1815, followed by many more during the remainder of the century. Your Easton travel trailer rental is your invitation to explore this scenic and historic area.
