Discover Williamsburg RV rentals for memorable road trips

The east coast is home to many great cities like New York, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington D.C., but it’s also home to smaller towns like Williamsburg, Virginia. This town is close to Jamestown, which was the first colony in America. Williamsburg, along with Yorktown and Jamestown, is part of the historic triangle that attracts tourists from all around the country. The town may have history tracing back to origins of America, but it is no way stuck in the past. Williamsburg has that small town colonial charm, but it’s also known for its nearby professional golf course, the University of William and Mary, breweries and distilleries, outdoor activities, and, of course, museums and historic sites.

The Great Outdoors

There is almost too much to do in the great outdoors around Williamsburg. Bay Country Kayaking will guide you and your family down the river while providing a historical narration of the surrounding areas. This kayaking trip is too not challenging at all and takes about two to three hours. For a more competitive activity, you can try golf, as Williamsburg has nine golf courses, such as the Kiskiack Golf Course and the Ford’s Colony Country Club.

Exploring the City

If you've had your fill of outdoor adventuring and want to explore the town of Williamsburg, well, you’re in for a treat. Williamsburg has a rich heritage in brewing and distilling, so it’s only right to go on the tasting trail and imbibe some of Virginia’s finest spirits and brews. The 8 Shires distillery makes a silver rum that’s worth a try, and then there is the Silver Hand Meadery, which, no surprise, makes mead; this fermented honey drink is not as common as it once was but its still delicious and very potent. Lovers of hops and barley need not worry because Williamsburg is home to a few breweries like Billsburg Brewery, The Virginia Company, and Alewerks Brewing Company.

GREAT LITTLE RV CAMPER ♥️ When my 16 year old son decided he wanted to go camping in VB First Landing State Park for his April school vacation - let me tell you… I was NOT looking forward to packing up a tent and ALL the stuff you need and driving from NH - SOOO last minute a friend told me I could rent a RV and have them bring it to the camp ground and set it up… WHAT? OK NOW I WAS EXCITED - I actually booked a little bigger RV and then received a message from the host that she had a family emergency and could not fulfill my reservation - (PANIC SET IN) But I found this in , a lot smaller but it was ABSOLUTELY exactly what was needed.
Sean was really a great host, he responded right away to my booking and any questions I had (which was many)
My husband was driving from a Myrtle Beach golf trip and I was driving from NH and we realized we would be there earlier than expected and I messaged Sean again and got right back to me and was able to meet my husband the night before and totally set up the whole camper and showed my “NON CAMPER HUSBAND” everything we needed to know - Sean had chairs and a little table, a rug and all the cooking stuff , propane grill and skillet. Everything you needed .
April had some chilly and rainy days and nights but thank gosh for heat and extra blankets -
I used the bathroom/shower but my husband and son used the camping showers/bathroom - (my husband was nervous about using up the tanks)
We want to let Sean know we appreciated him as a host and was very accommodating and responsive to any questions we had.
We will definitely be back as I think First Landing was one of the best Camp Grounds I have been too-
The beach, the trails and so close to VB boardwalk and all the amenities - ♥️
