This state park, which is located just west of East Okoboji Lake, has over a hundred campsites, the majority of which can accommodate RVs. These campsites can be reserved online ahead of time for convenience, though half of the campsites are kept open for people who arrive onsite without reservations.
Exploring the Area
RV camping at the state park is a great way to explore an area, but sometimes camp food can become a bit tiresome, and the call of eating out grows strong. The closest options to East Okoboji Lake, in regards to food options, are at Arnolds Park and Spirit Lake, depending on which side of the lake you are enjoying. Arnolds Park has a lot of smaller, local restaurants that are designed to provide a fun night out, while Spirit Lake has more family-friendly options and chain restaurants. The road that connects the two towns also has various food and fuel options, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble finding a place everyone will like.
