Hudsonville is a small town in Michigan just outside Grand Rapids. It was first settled in 1856 when Homer Hudson moved up from Ohio, planning to start a nursery for fruit trees. The town officially became a village in 1957 when it was incorporated. It sits close to I-196, halfway between Grand Rapids and Holland. It’s considered one of the fastest growing areas in the state and the town has been focused on improving its parks and expanding open green spaces.
