1968 Forester 17-t. Our 'up north' themed restored vintage camper has plenty of her original charm but has been updated with modern updates to keep her comfortable!-Original: birch wood interior, propane gas stove, refrigerator, kitchen sink, furnace for the cold nights, and classic look.
-Updated: brand new cushions, new tires, new trailer wiring to back tail lights, all around cosmetic updates, new toilet (not functioning but almost all campsites have bathrooms), and sleek paint job.
Our 'Lil Miss North' is ready to hit the road with four adult humans and your pups! We also think parents with three kids could fit comfortably as well due to the bunk bed! We know that a road trip isn't a road trip if your furry friends can't tag along so Lil Miss North is supplied with food and water bowls and a comfortable place for them to sleep.Designed with 'Up North' in mind, this vintage camper restoration is still in progress and updates are made daily. I will upload new photos as progress is made but she is ready to be rented out as is!Find a campsite with electrical hookup so you can enjoy the lights and outlets. If not, she is equipped with small battery powered lights that will keep things lit on the dark nights. What's includedLil Miss North comes stocked with Bluetooth speaker, dishes, coffee maker, working stove-top, books, games, one tank of propane, working fridge (if at Electrical site), and smore's roasters.
RecommendationsLil Miss North loves the north shore! Bring her to the Apostle Islands or Gooseberry Falls State Park and she'll be right at home. She even got to explore the U.P. Michigan last fall and loved the off-the-grid sites we found. However, she's also up for an adventure and would love to experience the Black Hills or even further west.Other things to noteLil Miss North will be cleaned thoroughly between renters. If you want to fit more than 4 adults or more than 2 adults and 3 kids, rent our tent and enjoy the company of your larger group. If you plan on bringing furry friends, please give us a heads up. :) If you have any questions, please ask upfront!

Frequently asked questions

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

If there is not a renter on the day before or the day after your trip, we are flexible with anytime of day for pick-up or drop-off at no additional fee. If there are renters on either end, we will need to stick to the planned time to ensure proper cleaning protocols.

Q.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

A.

Electric is a simple plug-in to the outlet at the campsite. Currently, water and sewage hookup is not functioning.

Q.

Where can everyone sleep?

A.

The back couch turns into a bed that is ~full-size (great for two adults), the front dinette turns into a bed that is ~twin-size (great for kids, has slept two adults in the past), and the back bunk folds down from the ceiling and is technically the same length and width as the full-size underneath but feels a little tighter due to being up close to the curved ceiling (also great for kids or one adult!)

Ever since renting a teardrop camper a few years ago, we have been in love with the idea of restoring and renovating a vintage camper. When Covid hit, we finally decided to make the purchase and begin renovation. After many hours of work, Lil Miss North is now ready to hit the road and be enjoyed by families all over Minnesota. Please let us know what we can do to make your weekend adventures perfect for you and your family or friends.
