Litchfield is a small town community located on the shores of Lake Ripley in central Minnesota. Not too far from Minneapolis, Litchfield offers an escape into the “Land of 10,000 Lakes,” while remaining in proximity to bigger cities and attractions. The town was founded in 1869 as a depot when the railroad began to extend out from Minneapolis. Ever since, the town has continued to grow into the welcoming community that it is.
