Discover Fairless Hills RV rentals for memorable road trips

In early 1950s, prefabricated homes were all the rage, and Fairless Hills was one of the first prefab communities created in the Philadelphia metro area. U.S. Steel, which had a manufacturing facility nearby, financed the Fairless Hills development, and the community was named after its president, Benjamin Fairless. These homes were built by Gunnison Magic Homes, a subsidiary of U.S. Steel, and they were reasonably priced and well built (compared with today’s prefab homes).

The Great Outdoors

One of the many reasons to rent a camper rental in Fairless Hills is to explore the outdoors for fun and adventures. There are several parks in the area, offering a huge array of activities. The closest park, Core Creek Park, is a small 1,3000-acre park with a lake. In addition to an off-leash dog area and a few miles of hiking trails, Lake Luxembourg is popular with local fishermen. Anglers can catch fish like largemouth bass, carp, and a few others. If you’re not experienced with nonmotorized boats, the park offers kayaking and canoeing lessons. They also rent out kayaks, canoes, rowboats, paddleboats, and aqua cycles.

RV Parks

When you rent a camper trailer in Fairless Hills, you’ll need someplace to call home for a few days while you explore this corner of Pennsylvania. Due to covenants in place, there aren’t many campgrounds in the immediate area.

Exploring the City

This close to Philadelphia, there’s plenty of places to see. In addition to the usual historic hotspots, check out the Styer Orchard in Langhorne. One of the few remaining farms in the area, visitors can pick their own fruits and vegetables. There’s nothing like sun-warmed blackberries just plucked off the vine. Depending on the season and weather, they have a selection of strawberries, plums, peaches, apples, tomatoes, squashes, and pumpkins.

I rented the RV for a weekend at a race track, and it was perfect. Tim delivered the RV on time, set it up, and walked me through how to use it. The RV was clean and modern. Would rent again.
