Discover Penns Park RV rentals for memorable road trips

One of the oldest villages in Bucks County, Penns Park was originally known as Logtown as early as 1716. The name changed to Pennsville in early 1800s in a nod to William Penn, the founder of the Pennsylvania state, and then once again to Penns Park. Just outside the town, at the intersection of Penns Park Road and Mud Road, there is a log house that is, or so the local lore goes, the oldest house in the county, built by William Smith who arrived in the area in 1685.

RV Parks

When you rent a motorhome from Penns Park, you’ll need someplace to park overnight while you grab your eight-hours of shut-eye. Unfortunately, there are ordinances in place preventing RV campgrounds in the area. However, there are several options up north near Nockamixon State Park, which is around 30 miles to north.

Exploring the City

Getting away from the hustle and bustle of the big city doesn’t mean you have to be bored. There’s plenty of things to do around Penns Park. The local farmer’s market in Wrightstown is one of the best in the area. They emphasize sustainable farming practice, and select the vendors carefully, favoring those who don’t use pesticides or offer pasture-raised meats, organic eggs, cheeses, and yogurts. The farmer’s markets operate on a twice-monthly schedule December through April, and the rest of year, every Saturday morning.

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation with the RV. Even though the RV is a bit older, it has done a great job and has always accompanied us faithfully, no matter where we wanted to go. Everything works and you have everything you need to camp completely off grid.

We rented the RV for an Eagles tailgate and had an amazing experience! Everything worked perfectly and made the day super easy and fun. The RV was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great time before and after the game. The only downside was the Birds taking the loss, but the RV setup made the whole day a win for us
