Records Pond is located in southern Delaware, between the towns and cities of Laurel, Delmar, and Bridgeville. This man-made lake was created in 1900 with the construction of the Records Pond dam and the impoundment of Broad Creek. Originally created for flood defense purposes, Records Pond has slowly gained a reputation over the century as an excellent place for recreation. This fantastic reputation, combined with its relative closeness to many Delaware towns, makes Records Pond the ideal place to take an RV rental. Access to Records Pond with a rental RV is made even easier with Highway 24 passing near its southern shore. Campgrounds can also be found throughout Sussex County, making camping with an RV here a breeze.
