When William Penn initially secured land from King Charles II, his son ultimately realized that they weren’t the natural possessors of the land and before allowing people to settle on it, he made agreements with some of the local natives to purchase various tracts. The region that would one day become known as Coopersburg, Pennsylvania was purchased in 1737. It was originally part of Bucks County but eventually became part of the County of Lehigh in 1812. RV rentals in Lehigh County can offer an excellent opportunity to check out the heart of Pennsylvania.
